Roof replacement
Location: Middleton
The original roof had multiple failed mortar joints, deteriorating felt, and cracked slates across the whole roof space. A full strip and reroof was carried out using breathable membrane, treated battens, interlocking concrete tiles and a dry ridge system. The mortar-free system eliminates future maintenance and significantly outlasts a traditionally bedded ridge. The chimney was also re-pointed & re-flaunched, alongside all leadwork around the chimney. This is our standard practice when replacing entire roofs. All New Roofs come with a 10 year guarantee.
Flat Roof Replacements
This flat roof was a D.I.Y Job by the previous homeowner, it was leaking everywhere and lead to rotten timbers, with the structure on the brink of collapse. We replaced the rafters with fresh timbers, Cleaned off the concrete washroom roof and Installed OSB-3 Boards. We then installed 3 layer bituminous felt, using two layers of underlay followed by a final layer of cap sheet. All new roofs come with a 10 year guarantee.

Chimney Re-Point & Re-Flaunching
Homeowners we had done previous work for had purchased a new family home. Shortly after they had a leak in the Childs bedroom causing serious damp & mould. After inspecting the roof space it was clear to see the chimney was holding a large amount of moisture, so much so that a significant amount of plant life was growing out of the chimney! A full Re-Pointing & Re-Flaunching was required.

Multiple slate replacement & Ridge Re-Pointing
Location: Macclesfield
The homeowner noticed a significant amount of water coming through into the bedroom.
On inspection, the cause was clear. Several slates had slipped or gone missing across the roof and the ridge pointing had deteriorated to the point where water was getting in at the apex as well. Multiple slates were replaced, a couple of battens were replaced where they had rotted away with the rain, and the full ridge line was repointed. Leak Fixed for good.
